Happy New Year Lovelies!
Apologies for not blogging since before Christmas, we have been without Internet then we left the laptop at Matt’s mum and dads in Essex – we got it back at the weekend, so I have lots to blog about!
My first post of 2013 is a review of the fabulous company Curiosities of London  the owner Nicky sent me a beautiful 1960s vintage mother of pearl necklace from the vast collection of vintage jewellery she sells.
This is what Nicky said about her company “Curiosities of London is an online boutique specialising in vintage jewellery. It is owned by Nicky Burke who has had a life long love of jewellery after inheriting a locket from her Grandmother. After exhausting her Mother’s jewellery collection (well, the bits she was allowed to take anyway), Nicky needed to go elsewhere. Curiosities of London was born  in November 2010 after spending many hours looking for good quality vintage rings, bracelets, brooches and necklaces. We stock jewellery from the 1950s through to the 1980s. Each piece is individually sourced and checked to ensure the highest quality. We work on the basis that if something is still in great shape after 50 years – it’s likely to last a whole lot longer!”

I love this necklace it matches so many clothes in my wardrobe, I chose to wear it with this vintage cardigan as I thought the pearl in the necklace set off the pearls on my cardigan perfectly. Nicky is so lovely and helpful, when I had a browse through her website there is so many items I liked and at reasonable prices, which in this age of “vintage is fashionable” is nice to find, especially when your on a budget!
So if your a vintage lover like me, or just like pretty jewellery with some fabulous history attached then visit Curiosities of London I will definitely be expanding my collection there!
Thanks again to Nicky for asking me to review her company and sending me this necklace, I hope you’ve enjoyed this review.
Thanks for reading.
Lots of Love
Katy
